Hannah Byers, Board Member
Hannah joined Sotheby’s as Director of Museum Services after fifteen years of working with museums around the globe.
She has worked on museum development projects in more than a dozen countries and has experience in nearly seventy major exhibitions in varying capacities, ranging from a curator, researcher, consultant, and manager. She is a contributing author to numerous publications, including Reinterpreting Revolutionary Russia (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006) and Memories of Baku (Marquand, 2013). Ms. Byers received her doctorate in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Glasgow, and her MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester.
