Lectures & Workshops

From time to time, ArtBridge hosts lecture and speaking series to engage the artists and communities we’re working with. Where We Stand: The Intersection of Public Art and Gentrification was a series of panel discussions that took place in Brownsville, Brooklyn and in the Bronx. These discussions addressed the complex relationship of art and gentrification in low-income neighborhoods, and probed the idea of whether artists and arts organizations could be a positive force for local residents and communities. This program was funded in part by a grant from the New York Council on the Humanities. Contact us: info@art-bridge.org
