ArtBridge: Kingston 2015

Project's History

For three consecutive years, ArtBridge : Kingston, an annual outdoor exhibition on the Greenkill and Broadway bridges, located in Midtown Kingston, NY engaged over 100 artists from Wallkill to Woodstock who submitted works for consideration via our online open call to Mid-Hudson Valley-based artists.

The 2013 exhibition was our organization’s first public installation outside the five boroughs, unveiled in March of 2013 on the 90-foot long Greenkill and Broadway Avenue bridges in Midtown Kingston.

The 2014 installation opened in conjunction with the city’s annual St. Patrick’s day parade on Sunday, March 16th, 2014, featuring the work of local & emerging artists, Deborah Mills Thackrey & Frank Wright. Read about it on Chronogram.com.

The 2015 exhibition featured the work of local artists Gabe Brown (Kingston, NY) and Jean-Marc Superville Sovak (Beacon, NY). Their works were on display for six months from on March 7, 2015.
