These tote bags are upcycled from actual ArtBridge projects — so, what does that mean? It means the vinyl material was originally exhibited on an ArtBridge installation somewhere in the 5 boroughs of New York City. Our projects are installed on construction scaffolding, and construction fencing where it remains installed for one year or more. The artwork is originally printed on a heavy-duty, weatherproof 3M vinyl that holds up well in direct sunlight and most weather conditions. When the installation is taken down, we select some of the more interesting sections and have the materials cleaned and cut into panels that are then hand-sewn into tote sturdy, artful tote bags. Each is completely unique, and no two are alike.
