Stephanie McMahon received a BFA from the School of Art and Design at Alfred University and MFA in Painting from The University of Texas at Austin. McMahon is a recipient of The New York Foundation for the Arts Strategic Opportunity Stipend and an individual artist grant from the Constance Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts. She was an artist in residence at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2008. Recent exhibitions include “Subject Object” at Ebersmoore Gallery in Chicago, ”Grey Matter” at The Painting Center (NY), a solo show at Kent State University (OH), and group exhibitions at Flanders Gallery (NC), Creative Research Laboratory in Austin, TX and Young Painters Exhibition at Miami University, OH. Her work has been reviewed on “Hyperallergic” and published in Cantanker Magazine.
