Stephanie Costello

Stephanie Costello creates artwork rooted in drawing that choreographs the energy and visual life of cities. She employs an improvised architecture and then creates movement, negotiating this structure in intricately evolving patterns and imagery. Costello received a BA in Studio Art from DePaul University, a post-baccalaureate degree in Painting from Brandeis University, and an MFA from Massachusetts College of Art. She has exhibited her work in galleries and museums in the US and abroad, including The Bronx Museum and Lincoln Center Plaza, the Riverside Art Museum, and La Pan gallery in Barcelona and Shanghai.
