“Among Friends” by Priscila De Carvalho is a mural that celebrates education and the life-long friends we make at school. In partnership with the Academy for Young Minds – a school for learners on the autism spectrum founded by TheraCare – artist Priscila De Carvalho created a mural that centers self-care. The mural depicts children engaged in reading, painting, and resting all while nestled in a comforting space surrounded by luscious plants, curious cats, and playful birds.
