Natasha Herring

Natasha Herring is a genre-busting storyteller, mixed-media healing artist, writer, and entrepreneur. She is a Kimbilio and Voices of Our Nations Arts (VONA) recipient and has been published in TriQuarterly, OyeDrum, and Operating System 30/30/30. Growing up as a latchkey kid in the Lower East Side and Gompers Houses, she was able to traverse the unorthodox, culture-filled, difficult 80s through storytelling and education. This story will unfold within the pages of her forthcoming memoir Raining Sunshine. Herring received her BFA from SUNY College Purchase, and was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the City College of New York, where she received her MFA in Creative Writing.
