Cecilia Guida

Cecilia Guida, Curator of Arte in CostruzioneCecilia Guida is a doctor in Communication and New Technologies and an independent curator based in Milan. She teaches History of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila and Analysis of Communication Processes at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
She deals with the relationships between artistic practices, new technologies and contemporary public space.
She has curated exhibition projects in museums, public and non-profit spaces in Italy and abroad, including: Menu (Spaziorazmataz, Prato, 2007), Out of context (various locations, 2008), Archive of Forgotten Ideas (Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella, 2009 – published in 2013 with “A certain Number of Books” ed.), Curiosity is a flying carpet (Villa Serena, Bologna, 2011), The Guest Room (Kunsthuis Syb, Beetsterzwaag, Netherlands, 2011), cartabianca_milano (Museum Villa Croce, Genoa, 2012), ARTINRETI.
