Ashes57 (Delphine Ettinger)Ashes57 is an illustrator, painter and photographer who has captured some of the most iconic images of the underground bass music scene from the early days of dubstep to footwork and beyond. She produced flyers and posters for the legendary Dub War parties and record covers for labels including DMZ, Swamp 81, and Hyperdub. Other collaborations include artwork for Wu-Tang Clan, Enter the Dubstep, and videos for DJ Rashad. Her photography has been included in the publications Arkitip and Supply and Demand – The Art of Shepard Fairey, and has been displayed at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston.
