Trevon Blondet

Bronx born Trevon Blondet is a visual storyteller who has worked on long term projects in the Bronx, Puerto Rico, Spain, and Switzerland. In 2013, he began photographing his neighborhood, noticing its changing face. He joined other Bronx photographers in documenting Jerome Avenue as it transformed. That work turned into the Jerome Avenue Workers Project, 2015. Blondet has exhibited in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, in both indoor and outdoor galleries. He was named a Claremont Healthy Village Initiative Fellow with the BronxDocumentary Center in 2018, where he was involved with community engagement initiatives throughout New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). Blondet uses film, 120 mm and 35mm, as well as digital photo making to share stories of the Bronx.
