Luke Swenson
Luke Swenson was born and raised in Washington state. Combining a process of photography, digital manipulation, and sculptural works, his artistic practice is a response to the culture and public life of Brooklyn and Chicago’s inner city neighborhoods. Swenson compiles a survey of personal photos, found imagery and repurposed materials to illustrate current socio-economic conditions affecting these historic neighborhoods and their inhabitants.
