About the Project
The mural was commissioned to encourage people in the community to participate in the country’s democratic process by casting their vote and effecting change. This was in the run-up to SA’s national elections in July 2024. It was targeted at the youth where there is normally a very low voter turnout. The mural turned out to be very popular amongst young and old.
