“Healing Garden Room,” by Gianna Gutierrez is a mural that represents the joy found through connection and storytelling. In collaboration with the Bushwick Senior Center, older adults had the opportunity to not only inspire the mural design, but also contribute to the painting process.
The inclusion of vibrant colors, floras, and inspirational messaging speaks to the value of celebrating elders and the wisdom they hold. The murals lives in the Bushwick Senior Center community room and was made possible through partnership with the Oye Group. View on Instagram
