Caroline Mardok is an award-winning French American visual artist whose work explores identity, race, and activism. Using various photographic methods, she creates narratives to reflect upon social issues. Her mural “Not Tired Yet,” honors the ongoing work, sacrifice and power of Black women, Black Trans women, and cis gender people leading the protests for societal change in NYC and beyond. Exhibited at the Bronx River Art Center, May 22 – July 17, 2021, the artwork portrays the multiple stories behind the protests of 2020 and the power of the people. With ArtBridge in Red Hook, her current large-scale mural explores housing, climate change, and the energy of youth in the community. She works and lives in Brooklyn.
