Caffetti’s Hue Are You is designed to bring life and color to the neighborhood. A former resident of the South Bronx who lived near Mitchel Houses, Caffetti is a vocal proponent of bringing more attention and respect to an area of the city that he believes is a staple of culture, yet lacks support in infrastructure. The artist’s imagery brings attention to the melanated hues of many Mitchel residents. 

Born and raised in Queens, Caffetti uses his creative platform to address mental health and the healing effects of perceiving color. Ultimately, Caffetti seeks to teach, ignite conversations, and offer positive life affirmations. He has exhibited his work in galleries and public spaces across New York City and Miami and is featured in various press outlets including Arts in Bushwick and Bronx Net TV.
