This Castle Hill Houses mural by Alex Rivera (known as “The Bronxer”) represents the levity and movement found in the natural world. In collaboration with Castle Hill residents, The Bronxer held artmaking workshops and activities in the garden where community members painted garden sheds and planter boxes.
Inspired by the natural landscape, the mural features a combination of The Bronxer’s iconic graphic figures along with images of trees and flowers. This mural was made in partnership with Grow NYC, Resident Association President Ms. Salcedo, and the office of Council Member Farias.
