The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), in collaboration with the New York City Department of Buildings and the Office of the Mayor, has announced City Canvas, a 24-month pilot designed to allow the installation of temporary visual art on eligible sidewalk sheds and construction fences.

#7on16th is a stretch of murals that span an entire city block on West 16th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, designed and painted by seven prominent female street artists based in New York City including: BKFoxx, Danielle Mastrion, Indie184, Tatyana Fazlalizadeh, Gera Lozano, Natasha Platt, and Jess X Snow. It will remain up through December 2019. Paints and brushes for this exhibition were generously donated by Liquitex.
