Sadaf is a creative coach and curator living in Brooklyn. She is of South-Asian heritage, with roots in Kashmir. After a near-decade as a public educator and Dean of Students, she left the school system to establish ALPHA Arts Alliance, collective supporting emerging artists of all ages. The ALPHA Artist Pledge is that a percentage of the proceeds fund active youth arts programming in Haiti, New York, and virtually.
Curatorially, Sadaf has been displayed on the East and West Coast including with VISUAL Aids, ArtFare, LA Spring Break, and LIC Arts Open. In her own artistic journey, Sadaf is a henna artist and abstract painter. Her work is often described as an “energy vortex” that has no beginning or end. She loves to cook, rollerblade, and hang out with the neighborhood kids who named her ALPHA many years ago. Sadaf holds her Bachelors of Arts from George Washington University and her Masters of Teaching from Johns Hopkins University.
