Patience Williams, Fellow

Patience Williams, Fellow Patience Williams has served in classrooms, farms, and museums in varying capacities as a teaching artist, researcher, and consultant — these experiences have led her to care deeply about the ways that curated and organic environments shape people’s relationships to themselves and their communities.

She is heavily informed and inspired by her Caribbean heritage as it relates to themes of indigeneity, belonging, and embodied knowledge.

At NYU, she is studying Social Infrastructure Design — an inquiry of land use and infrastructure planning through the lens of spatial politics and cultural geography.

At ArtBridge, Patience serves the Queens sites of the City Canvas project.
