Chris Spollen (2)

Spollen’s work has been the subject of one-man shows at the Staten Island Museum, the Society of Illustrators, and was most recently included in the acclaimed Robot Show at the Norman Rockwell Museum. His art has also been featured in exhibitions at the De Windt Gallery, the Monmouth Museum, and the New Britain Museum of American Art.

Danny started to make wooden flags as a request from his wife. She asked if he could make her some kind of flag for the grave site of her father, who served for the US Army during the Vietnam War. Danny started using reclaimed wood because many houses around him were being knocked down after Hurricane Sandy — giving new life to destroyed homes.

Donald Simon (3)

Location: New Horizon Decor

Donald Simon, a non-verbal artist who has autism and resides in Annadale, is known as an international “Kindness Ambassador” through his viral video. He has had several successful art shows on Staten Island, been featured in many news reports and has donated proceeds from art sales to local nonprofits. Donald and his artwork continue to inspire people to express themselves, be kind, and that all things are possible through persistence and love.

Considered a leader in the Staten Island art community, Eric has been commissioned for several public murals in Richmond County. He has served his community hosting art classes in Richmond, instructing paint classes at Pinots Palette in Tottenville, and has taken part in several art exhibitions around the Island. His original style and presentation offers a fresh take on modern art and breathes life into a struggling community of creatives.
