“Every man who deserves to be famous knows it is not worth the trouble.” –Fernando Pessoa

Born in Merate (Lecco), Lucia Uni lives between Milan and Malta. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna she attended the Advanced Course in Visual Arts at the Fondazione A. Ratti. The picture selected for L’Aquila is a visionary reconstruction of the city made with photographs taken a few days after the earthquake: a digital collage of a flying eagle that rises from the rubble.
