ArtBridge: First Exposure 2009, ArtBridge’s inaugural installation, was a 480 linear feet, first-of-its-kind exhibition hung on the scaffolding on the outside of the London Terrace Gardens on W. 23rd Street between 9th and 10th avenues. It featured the work of 26 emerging artists, garnering the attention of local media outlets, other arts organizations and City agencies. It marked the beginning of ArtBridge as an organization, whose mission is to bring similar installations to neighborhoods throughout the five boroughs.
